Agáta Centre

Agáta Centre provides follow-up comprehensive assistance to victims of domestic and gender-based violence. We continue the long-standing tradition of the Intervention Centre for Persons at Risk of Domestic Violence at the Diocesan Charity of České Budějovice, which we have been cooperating intensively with.

Our goal is the overall stabilization of people affected by domestic and gender-based violence and their subsequent integration into normal life without violence.
The Agáta Centre provides legal counselling and representation and psychological and economic stabilization. At the same time, it offers support in improving skills/enhancing competences or building coping strategies for people at risk. Last but not least, it helps to address actively adverse life situations, housing issues, and much more.
The services of the Agáta Centre are intended for all victims of domestic and gender-based violence, without age limitations, and are provided free of charge.

The Agáta Centre offers

  • Psychotherapy for children and adults
  • Specialised therapies
  • Legal services (including the possibility of legal representation)
  • Integration housing
  • Integration worker services for foreign victims

Prior to the consultation, it is necessary to make an appointment
by phone at +420 604 192 817.

We guarantee the possibility to remain anonymous, a safe space, and confidentiality.
We also engage in educational activities for the professional and general public. We inform the public about the issue of domestic and gender-based violence, and we strive to prevent and overcome ingrained stereotypes and negative patterns of behaviour.
